1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StethoSuite ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including healthcare providers, clinic administrators, and any other party who accesses the Service.

2. Description of Service

StethoSuite provides a platform for healthcare providers to securely share medical imaging results (DICOM files) with patients via time-limited viewing links. The Service includes a web-based DICOM viewer, WhatsApp notification integration, and an API for integration with PACS/RIS systems.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must register an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Ensuring all users in your organization comply with these Terms

4. Authorized Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Share patient data without proper authorization or consent
  • Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
  • Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission

5. Healthcare Compliance

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable healthcare laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, including but not limited to patient data protection laws, medical privacy regulations, and any institutional policies governing the sharing of medical records. StethoSuite provides tools to help with compliance but does not guarantee compliance on your behalf.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for obtaining all necessary consents from patients before sharing their medical data through the Service. You retain ownership of all patient data you upload or generate through the Service.

7. Subscription and Payment

Access to certain features of the Service requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly as agreed. Usage quotas (links and views) reset on the 1st of each calendar month. We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable advance notice. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will provide reasonable advance notice for planned maintenance where possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StethoSuite shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice in the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
